If you love to dance, then dance your way in to Exsportise Summer Camp.  What better way to spend your summer than doing something that you love.  And you can learn or improve your English at the same time.

Our Dance Academy is designed for dancers of any level or background, and includes a variety of styles and dance disciplines such as Jazz, Contemporary and Street.

Our Dance Team are all professional dance tutors, highly experienced dancers, performers and choreographers.  They are passionate, committed and enthusiastic.  They have all returned to Exsportise Summer School year after year and delight in seeing the progress that their students at summer camp.  Take a moment to meet some of our past and present Exsportise Dance Team .

CHARLOTTE CLARKE

Charlotte is a professionally trained contemporary dancer and aerialist. Charlotte is returning to Exsportise Summer Camp this year for her sixth summer. Since last year, Charlotte has been involved in a number of projects including photoshoots and commercials for Puregym. She is also a health and fitness blogger writing about trends within health and fitness in London. With Charlotte students will receive a rounded training including but not exclusive to fitness, stretching, yoga, technique, street jazz, jazz and contemporary. You will leave camp having gained knowledge and understanding in a variety of dance styles and areas.

RHYS RICE

Rhys has been a professional dancer and actor for 5 years, after training professionally at Sylvia Young Theatre School and Laine Theatre Arts. He has been been taught by and worked for numerous West End and Broadway choreographers and directors, including Andrew Wright, Matt Flint and Bob Thompson. Since summer last year he has toured the UK with a theatre production and is now touring Europe with a production of The Wizard of Oz, playing the role of ‘The Scarecrow’.With Rhys students will gain skill and understanding in various dance styles, such as Ballet, Musical Theatre Jazz, Street Jazz, commercial Jazz and Hip Hop.This is his fourth year teaching Dance at Exsportise and he is very excited to be returning.

JAMIE NEALE

An award winning choreographer, Jamie trained at the internationally acclaimed Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance. Since graduating, Jamie has performed in various successful productions and is now a passionate choreographer. Jamie was part of the Young Creatives project choreographing at the Royal Opera House. Directed by Wayne McGregor, the piece was created collectively and culminated in a performance at the Anya Linden Studio Theatre as well as Royal Opera House Limbury.  Jamie has been seen working alongside critically acclaimed choreographers  creating and developing new and innovative pieces including It Is This?! at Sadlers Wells and is associate choreographer on Snow Queen tour with director Sarah Tipple and choreographer Russell Smith. He has choreographed an art instillation for Made.com for their summer collect with London Design Festival 2015, the London Studio Centre, American School of Musical Theatre, Millennium Performing Arts, Mandy Ellen Performing Arts, Margaret Howard College,  MGA College, MTA, Arts Educational and Bodyworks Performing Arts. As well as creating his own work, Jamie has been privileged to work as a dancer for many critically acclaimed choreographers such as Renaud Wiser, Jonathon Goddard, Alexander Whitley, Pascal Touzeau, Luca Silvestrini & Lea Anderson. This work includes; Stone Nest for New Movement Collective, Rite of Spring by Mark Baldwin at Sadlers Wells, Sleeping Beauty (research and development team) with Ballet Mainz – Directed by Pascal Touzeau, Zipperline at the Royal Opera House by Stephen Quilian and most recently for Dolce and Gabanna at the Milano Fashion Week. Jamie also heads up his very own company The Ensembles alongside fellow choreographer Klevis Elmazaj and Jamie has recently been given the opportunity to make his stamp on the world of TV, having secured a choreographer position on world famous show – So you think you can Dance – Portugal and has recently worked with Mika and Will Young.

MATT CREMIN

Matt trained at Liberatus School of Performing Arts and then later at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey. Previous Theatre credits include Princess Cruises(Worldwide) Dance Captain/Cecco in Peter Pan (Lighthouse Theatre, Poole) Dance Captain/Daisy the Cow in Jack and the Beanstalk(Lighthouse Theatre, Poole) Flying in at 40 and Astaire at a Time (Epsom Playhouse), Joe’s Dad in Our House (LTA, Studio Theatre), Terry in Boogie Nights (Wyvern Theatre, Swindon), Clothes Show Live (NEC Arena, Birmingham), Perfect Imperfection and Beat (Olympus Theatre, Bristol). Matt has just returned from working with Princess Cruises on many of their Vessels sailing all around the world and is very excited to be returning to Exsportise again this year!

FANNI KOHLHOFFER

Fanny is an international Rhythmic Gymnast from Hungary, with an extensive and successful career on the international stage. She was selected as the number one junior gymnast to represent her country at the European Championships in Torino in 2008 where she came 5th. Having won the Hungarian Championships in 2009, she was selected as a member of the Senior Team preparing for the London Olympics of 2012. Having studied for her degree at Durham University, she now pursues her dance in the Team Durham Modern and Contemporary Team.
