Summer Camp Medical Facilities and Arrangements

All camps have two on-site medical officers, a medical/treatment room, and multiple trained first aiders, and they are within easy reach of excellent hospitals.

ON-SITE MEDICAL CARE

Medical Officers will give students common non-prescription medicines such as paracetamol unless you advise us in writing not to do so. Each centre is near to a general medical practice and appointments with doctors can be made if necessary.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

We must receive accurate information about any pre-existing medical conditions your child may have. Please note that Exsportise accepts students on the assumption that they are in good health.

ALL MEDICINES MUST BE HANDED INTO THE MEDICAL ROOM FOR SAFE AND CORRECT STORAGE, MUST BE LABELED IN ENGLISH AND APPROPRIATE FOR THE CHILD’S AGE.

Would you like to speak to our medical screening team for reassurance that we can cater for your child? Book an appointment:

  • Each centre has a Medical Room where your child can go to take their medicine under supervision.

  • If you live in a country that is part of the European Union, please make sure that your child comes to camp with a European Health Insurance Card (E111).  This will ensure that they can be seen by a UK doctor at no cost and without delay.

Please note that the cover provided by this card is very limited (dental treatment is not included) and is no substitute for travel insurance.
